LIP FAMILY
After a year of repeated refinement, JOOCYEE’s Lip Family has undergone a brand-new upgrade, introducing 5 different textures and a total of 72 shades that cater to 18 different skin tones.
Grounded in our color philosophy, from hues to makeup effects, we delve into lip makeup that better suits Chinese women. Our goal is to assist a broader audience in the realm of lip aesthetics, offering a more diverse selection and making the process of shade selection effortless.
COLOR PHILOSOPHY
Low saturation, monochromatic, slightly deeperWe've incorporated the dimensions of hue, saturation, and lightness from color theory to aid our research. After extensive analysis of consumer skin tone samples, beyond the conventional dimensions of skin tone warmth and lightness, we introduced the influence of red-green bias. This led us to categorize common Chinese women's skin tones into 12 types, forming the '12 Skin Tone Ring.'
Following rigorous makeup effect testing and aligning with the characteristics of Chinese women's skin tones, we've established a color philosophy of 'low saturation, monochromatic, slightly deeper.' This philosophy has guided the creation of 8 lip glosses and 4 eyeshadows, meticulously crafted across 4 sets, catering to the 12 distinct skin tones.
